نتقدم نحن أبناء الشعب الجنوبي في اليمن بنداء استغاثة عاجل إلى كل من يعني بالسلام وينادي بحرية التعبير ومبادئ العدل والحرية والمساواة، وإلى ضمير العالم الحي الذي يؤمن بحقوق الإنسان التي كفلتها الشرائع السماوية وأيدتها القوانين الوضعية وتضمنتها مواثيق الأمم المتحدة وعبرت عنها في الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان في 10 من ديسمبر عام 1948.
أننا نضع بين أيديكم نماذج من أبشع صور القمع والإرهاب السلطوي والذي يمارسه النظام الديكتاتوري للرئيس اليمني علي عبدالله صالح وما تقترفه آلته العسكرية والأمنية من المجازر البشرية المروعة وجرائم الحرب والإبادة الجماعية ضد المدنيين العزل سكان الجنوب وذلك لمجرد خروجهم ثائرين في فعاليات سلمية مطالبين بنيل حقوقهم واستعادة دولتهم والتي تعرضت لاجتياح القوات الشمالية عن طريق الحرب الشاملة والتي شنتها في صيف عام 1994 وهم في مطلبهم هذا يستندون إلى قراري مجلس الأمن الدولي رقم ( 931-924) لنفس العام.

ومنذ ذلك الحين لم تهدأ الجماهير الجنوبية ولم تستكين بل واصلت احتجاجاتها وتعاقبت وتيرتها في وجه النظام العسكري الديكتاتوري للرئيس اليمني علي عبدالله صالح على الرغم من ضراوة القمع واستخدام القوة المفرطة وارتكاب المجازر المروعة حتى بلغ الغضب الجماهيري ذروته في ثورة جماهيرية احتجاجية عمت جميع المدن والمناطق بالجنوب من أقصاها إلى أقصاها ابتداءً من العام 2006 م و ما غدت تُعرف إعلامياً بـ " الحراك الجنوبي السلمي" . ولقد اختار الشعب الجنوبي منذ ذلك التاريخ التعبير عن غضبه وثورته ضد الظلم والطغيان الذي يتعرض له وذلك عبر حراكه السلمي والحضاري وهبته بجميع أطيافه ومكونات مجتمعه لإيصال رسالته إلى العالم أجمع وعبر جميع الطرق والوسائل المشروعة. إن حراكنا الجنوبي يمثل انتفاضة شعب مدني مقهور يعاني من صلف نظام عسكري وقبلي متخلف لا يخفى على أحد تعاونه بل دعمه للمنظمات الإرهابية وعلى رأسها تنظيم القاعدة والذي يحظى برعاية خاصة من هذا النظام.

ولقد دأب النظام اليمني على مواجهة هذه الاحتجاجات بالقمع ومنع الفعاليات ومصادرة الحريات الصحفية والإعلامية من خلال إغلاق الصحف وحجب المدونات والمنتديات والمواقع الإلكترونية واستخدام شتى الوسائل للتعتيم الإعلامي لما يقوم به من محاربة للناشطين واعتقال لهم، وقصف مدفعي همجي على القرى والمدن واستخدام شتى أنواع الأسلحة الخفيفة والثقيلة، والعمل على أن لا تصل هذه الصورة المظلمة لما يحدث في الداخل إلى المنظمات الحقوقية ووسائل الإعلام بل حتى البعثات الدبلوماسية العاملة في اليمن. ولم تتوانى السلطات اليمنية عن ملاحقة واستهداف بل حتى تهديد حياة الصحفيين والمراسلين الإعلاميين للصحف والقنوات ومختلف وسائل الإعلام الدولية، وهو ما يحول دون نقل الصورة الحقيقية والواقع الجنوبي المعاش.
ولهذا فإننا لجأنا إلى الرسائل الإلكترونية والمجموعات البريدية وما تسنى لنا استخدامه لإيصال رسالتنا وقضية شعبنا. ونحن نهيب بجميع أحرار العالم ومنظمات المجتمع المدني وحقوق الإنسان ووسائل الإعلام والوكالات الدولية وحكومات الدول الشقيقة والصديقة للمسارعة بالشجب والتنديد بالجرائم والتصرفات القمعية التي تمارسها السلطات اليمنية بحق الجماهير الجنوبية والتي لاترتضيها جميع الشرائع والأعراف والنظم الدولية. ونرجو منكم كذلك أن تُعينونا على كشف هذه الجرائم المروعة وتعرية هذا النظام وما يقوم به من عسكرة للحياة المدنية وجرائم الإبادة والترويع والتشريد الجماعي لأبناء الجنوب.

ونحن هنا نلحق لكم نموذجا بسيطا لبعض صور الضحايا والفعاليات المدنية وإحصائية بالقتلى والجرحى والمعتقلين في سجون النظام اليمني منذ قيام الحراك الجنوبي قبل أربع سنوات وحتى الآن. ولا نرجو منكم سوى نقل هذه الصورة وعكس الواقع الحقيقي الذي نعيشه وليس كما يصوره النظام اليمني ويدعيه أمام وسائل الإعلام والدول الصديقة. وندعو كذلك إلى تشكيل لجان مستقلة وهيئات دولية لتقصي الحقائق للوقوف أمام حقيقة الأوضاع الجارية في جنوب اليمن وهذا أقل ما ينبغي تقديمه للشعب الجنوبي إنصافا له من الظلم والعدوان الذي يتعرض لهما.

We, the people in south Yemen make a Urgent distress call To who care about peace And calls for freedom of expression and the principles of justice, freedom and equality,And to the conscience of the living world who believes in human rights guaranteed by divine law And endorsed by the man-made laws and covenants contained in United Nations And expressed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on 10 of December 1948.

The Yemeni regime has always been face of these protests, repression and prevention activities and the confiscation of press and media freedoms By closing newspapers and blocking blogs, forums and ***sites Use of various means of media blackout For his fight against activists and arrest them .Savage artillery bombardment on the villages and cities using various types of heavy and light arms,he work hard that this dark picture of what is happening at home does not reach to human rights organizations and the media and even diplomatic missions operating in Yemen,Yemeni authorities did not hesitate to prosecute and the targeting of even endangering the lives of journalists and reporters for newspapers and media channels and various international media, which prevents the transfer of the real picture and the fact the southern pension.

This is why we turned to e-mails and e-mail groups What we have been able to use to convey our message and the cause of our people. We call upon all the free world and civil society organizations and human rights, media and international agencies and governments of brotherly and friendly countries to accelerate denounce and condemn the crimes and the repressive actions carried out by the Yemeni authorities South right of the masses which are not acceptable to all the laws, customs and international systems, We hope you also help us to detect these horrific crimes and the erosion of this system of what the militarization of civilian life and crimes of genocide, intimidation and mass displacement of people of the south.
