Longman Active study Dictionary
The Longman Active Study Dictionary CD-ROM contains several sections designed to give you the most information about words in British and American English. Three main sections are accessed via the coloured tabs at the top of the LASDE window: the A-Z dictionary, Pictures and Videos and Test Yourself . When you select a particular section, the subsections of that category will appear on buttons beneath. The index for that section or subsection will appear in the panel on the left.
  The Longman Active Study Dictionary CD contains the following sections: A-Z dictionary Verb forms Study Notes Pronunciation Pictures & Videos Pictures Videos Test Yourself First Certificate General Knowledge Grammar Phrasal Verbs Recognising words Understanding the meaning Picture labels Anagrams Dictation Mixed sentences The LASDE window also includes Edit and Settings menus to adjust functionality, the Longman Word Wizard for use with a word processor or browser, and a Search facility to look up words in the dictionary by typing them in. It is a very valueble dictionary and deserves to be downloaded .
