In the month of Augest 2008 after exposure to a traffic accident caused a broken leg and pelvic injuries force him to travel abroad for treatment; after pressure from political parties and Human rights and Humanitarian on regime to allow him to travel after he refused to do so. after returning from long trip treatment at the end of August,2010 , he tries to live out of his place of residence in the governorate of Hadramout toward other Southern regions .however, the regime was tracking his movement, Sanaa regime arrested him in one of the outposts on the outskirts of the Directorate of Dhale (120 km north of Aden) and has been forced disappeared following his arrest until it was detected about his whereabouts in the province of a prison(Ibb) north,continued detention under satisfactory conditions ,even tragic released in early January 2011, and he moved to an area of the Directorate of Lapaus in Yafa'a , province of Lahj and when circumstance forced him sick to undergo medical treatment in the city of Aden was arrested before completion of treatment in the hospital of AL-naqib in night of 20,FEB 2011 and was still missing and his son is forced to the moment without knowing charge against him.
thus , the correspondence group and Southern media ation(WASEL) put through this communication and help appeal to relief the tragedy against Southern leader Mr. Ahmed Hassan Baom and call all the international organizations , Human rights and Humanitarian to intensified its humanitarian efforts and monitoring the situation in South Yemen, the suffering inflicted on south of racial discrimination and arbitrary treatment of crimes and continues violations of their rights and freedoms and their areas by Sana'a regime
