نحن أسرة احمد سالم بلفقيه نبلغكم بتدهور صحة الوالد ونناشد جميع المنظمات الحقوقية والإنسانية ومنظمه العفو الدولية بسرعة التدخل العاجل لمخاطبة السلطة اليمنية وقيادات الأمن في حضرموت بسرعة الإفراج عن والدنا الذي يقبع في زنزانة البحث الجنائي في سيئون صغيرة الحجم علما بان لديه الكثير من الإمراض المزمنة بما فيها الضغط والكولسترول والقلب نناشدكم بتدخل السريع لإنقاذ حياة والدنا وعلما بان عنده خمسه أطفال وقد تعرض لازمة حادة في فترة سجنه ونحمل السلطة اليمنية كامل المسؤولية عن حياة الوالد

We the family of the struggler and the writer Ahmed Salem Belfaqeeh, write to you about the suffer of our father who is experiencing in the Yemeni jail.
We would like to inform you that our father’s health has deteriorated during the last week and his life is in a critical situation. Despite the fact that he suffers of various illnesses including blood presser and high level of cholesterol he is being arrested in custody in very bad conditions.
Our father kidnapped from a cafe shop in Tareem in Hadhramout Governorate - Yemen on Sunday 21st November 2010 by the police with no reason. They put him in the police station of Tareem, and then they moved him to Saiuoon’s prison. They keep him in a very small cell of 3X3 meters size in very bad conditions although he has experienced a hart struck.
We appeal to you to intervene at the Yemeni authority to release our father and save his life. He is the only one who looks after us, his 5 children.
They keep him in the custody without any charge as they have nothing against him. At the same time, we hold the Yemeni authorities responsibility for endangering our father’s life, which is in a serious risk.
