Ladies and Gentlemen,

I write to you to inform you that the government of Sanaa intends today to bring some of the leaderships of the Southern Peaceful Movement to trial.

It is known that these leaders practice only nonviolent campaigns in their struggle for the right of the people in the former South Yemen.

The government of Sanaa violates the human rights of Mr. Baoum, Mr. Al-Gharib and Mr. Al-Shuaibi seriously by arresting them and bringing them to such a trial.

I herewith urge you to stick up for these political activists and condemn their illegal proceedings and show your solidarity with them.

وترجمة الرسالة هي :

ايها السيدات والسادة ،
أكتب اليكم لابلغكم بان حكومة صنعاء تعتزم اليوم لجلب بعض من قيادات الحركة السلميه للجنوب الى المحاكمه.
ومن المعروف ان هذه الممارسه الا قادة الحملات غير العنيفه في نضاله من اجل حق شعب في اليمن الجنوبي السابقة.
حكومة صنعاء ينتهك حقوق الانسان من السيد باعوم ، السيد غريب والسيد آل الشعيبي بجدية من خلال القبض عليهم وتقديمهم للمحاكمة من هذا القبيل.
انني أحثكم على طيه حتى بالنسبة لهذه العصا والناشطين السياسيين وادانة الاجراءات بشكل غير قانوني ويعرض اعلانك التضامن معهم.
