as for al-jefri and other hashemites they are called "hijra" in north yemen and they are indeed hijra also in the south. This means that all hashemites came from outside yemen and are not true yemenis. The yemenies are qahtanees and these are tribal nation. The hashemites of the north came from turkey and iran while the hashemites of the south came from iraq and many of those are also of iran's decendents.
