south arabia has a distinct history and cannot be claimed as part of the yemen. Just look at the tribes. Southern tribes have their names of true blood tribes while northern tribes apart from the heads of the elite for hashed, bakeel and medhaj who have blood tribal roots, the majority of northern tribes inside those higly integrative tribes have names of areas (dhamari, rawdhi, mahweeti, anesy etc.)

as for al-jefri and other hashemites they are called "hijra" in north yemen and they are indeed hijra also in the south. This means that all hashemites came from outside yemen and are not true yemenis. The yemenies are qahtanees and these are tribal nation. The hashemites of the north came from turkey and iran while the hashemites of the south came from iraq and many of those are also of iran's decendents.
