Recently, I indicated that comments made last month by Abdul Qader Bajamal, which blamed foreign forces for inciting seperatist activities in the South, seemed to be direct toward exiled leader Abdullah al Asnag who lives in Saudi Arabia. Well, it looks like he’s not the only foreigner doin’ some fomenting:

Former YSP leader, Yemeni VP, and death-sentence-in-abstentia survivor, Ali Salem al Baydh, now living in exile in Oman, has been warned not to concern himself with Yemeni politics. Authorities summoned al Baydh yesterday and presented him with a strongly worded letter reminding the exiled separatist leader of his pledge to refrain from politics and threatened his expulsion if he disobeyed.

Nabaa News’ unnamed source says that al Baydh met with colleague Dr. Heider Abu Baker al A’ttas and other contacts from Yemen. the source says that Yemeni intelligence recently provided Muscat with reports indicating that former “national security” members associated with al Baydh recently have been witnessed crossing the Omani-Yemeni border using false ***************. The reports say that the agents have been coordinating political activities against Sana’a
