on 11/feb/2011 the head of supreme Council for South Peaceful Liberation Movement's Mr. Ahmed Hassan Baom was admitted to Al-nakeb hospital due to sudden illness occurred to him in his residence in Yafa'a directorate ,Lahj Gov. around 150 Km Away from Aden.
during his medical check(test),units of Central force and Intelligent attacked Al-nakeb hospital and kidnapped Mr. Hassan Baom and his younger son to unknown place, even Hassan family's who resides in Mukla city the capital of Hadramut Governorate around 600 km away from Aden didn't know about him,and he still forcibly missing until this moment.
despite to pleas of his family to all Humanitarian Organization that working in Yemen and abroad ,but they didn't receive any response so far .while the man's life is at risk due to his very poor health ,he reached the age of (70) years old and he suffers from heart disease ,hypertension and diabetes. also in earlier time he has two surgeries operation one at heart and other at his disk, on result , he is unable to walk on his feet but with help with some one or in wheelchair and he needs care and treatment and continues nursing .
the act of Yemeni's soldiers and Intelligent on the abduction of Southern leader Mr. Ahmed Hassan Boam from his hospital room's by supreme command from head of Sanaa regime,this makes behavior as barbaric aggression and contrary to all Human values and principles of Human rights which enacted by the divine laws as well as International Conventions which include Universal declaration of Human Right and International Convention on Civil and Political Rights , and the principal of justice for Victims of Crime and Abuse of Power which enacted by United Nation on 11/29/1985. as well as the Universal Declaration on the Protection of all Persons and forcibly disappeared which enacted by United Nations on 18/12/1985. the aggressive behavior to Mr. Baom can be classified under concept of Convention against Torture and other cruel,Inhuman or Degrading Treatment which enacted by United Nations on 10/12/1984.
what must emphasized here is that what leader Mr. Baom is facing and suffers from aggression and violation of civil and political rights , and enforced disappearance by Sana'a Regime since Feb/2011 , is continuation of extraordinary condition imposed by Sana'a regime on South People's since the invasion of South on 07//07/1994.
since the invasion,the South is subjected to grip of security and Intelligent and brutal military rule violated all the fundamental rights and discriminate and degrade South people's ,which leads Southern activists to run away from cities to remote areas to hide from intelligent eye's .
Mr. Baom was the most wanted to Sanaa regime since 7/7/1994 till now ,he has been chased and forced to be hide a full year after a peaceful March in the city of Muklla Capital of Hadraumt on 27/4/1997 the Anniversary of Declaration of the war of Sana'a regime against South on same date of year 1994. two protesters were killed in peaceful March ,Bagersh and Ba'hmam ,by regime securities were their aim to assassinate Mr. Baom.
when attempt of assassination failed, they tries to arrest him ,forcing him to escape to remote area and disappeared for a year,until he was arrested .during his detained the regime tried to tempt him with money and high position job to abandon his political opposition to presence sana'a regime is not legitimate in South,but he refused and he subjected to direct threat.
after the failure of all means of coercion against Southern leader Mr. Baom and in the absence of criminal case against him to justify public opinion to continue his detention ,the Sana'a regime forced to release him and place his activities under the control of security monitor's.
until the South peaceful revolution against sana'a occupation started on 2007 , Mr .Baom became most wanted to regime , and the intelligent successes to captured him after long spy observation with other south activists leaders in April/2008 and they transferred them to central prison in Sana'a. they faced trail on charges of conspiracy to national unity ,because of the escalation of protests in South the regime hold status of political agreement with opposition parties to resolve crisis which led to issues an amnesty to all South detainees including Mr. Ahmed Hassan baom in

In the month of Augest 2008 after exposure to a traffic accident caused a broken leg and pelvic injuries force him to travel abroad for treatment; after pressure from political parties and Human rights and Humanitarian on regime to allow him to travel after he refused to do so. after returning from long trip treatment at the end of August,2010 , he tries to live out of his place of residence in the governorate of Hadramout toward other Southern regions .however, the regime was tracking his movement, Sanaa regime arrested him in one of the outposts on the outskirts of the Directorate of Dhale (120 km north of Aden) and has been forced disappeared following his arrest until it was detected about his whereabouts in the province of a prison(Ibb) north,continued detention under satisfactory conditions ,even tragic released in early January 2011, and he moved to an area of the Directorate of Lapaus in Yafa'a , province of Lahj and when circumstance forced him sick to undergo medical treatment in the city of Aden was arrested before completion of treatment in the hospital of AL-naqib in night of 20,FEB 2011 and was still missing and his son is forced to the moment without knowing charge against him.
thus , ( ) put through this communication and help appeal to relief the tragedy against Southern leader Mr. Ahmed Hassan Baom and call all the international organizations , Human rights and Humanitarian to intensified its humanitarian efforts and monitoring the situation in South Yemen, the suffering inflicted on south of racial discrimination and arbitrary treatment of crimes and continues violations of their rights and freedoms and their areas by Sana'a regime
