Hi everybody, I hope that everyone is ok and healthy.
My brother Al_Theb Al_Jahafi thank you very much for reason the subject titled “How to speak English “and I think it’s a very important question for people who can not speak English.May be you’ll find a lot of people who are saying I’ve done and studied a lot of courses in English but I feel that I can’t speak English very well . So what do I have to do to improve my English?. I think that If you want to speak English, you should take the following steps:
1. First of all you have to know how to read and speak primitive English. Just try to start as soon as you can.
To keep in touch with the ******** is, maybe, the most important step on learning any ********.
2. Learning English requires a lot of practice, so don't wait! Try borrowing some books from a friend and try to talk with your friends that have better skills than you do in English, even if you're in a country which the native ******** is not English.
3. Grammar is important, but the only way to fix all those rules in your mind is through conversations. Don't ever forget that!
4. Many *************** have similar rules, but remember: When learning a ********, use Translation only in the beginning! If you use translation a lot, this might become an addiction, which won't let you to THINK in English. Thinking in the ******** is mandatory, after a certain point.
5. Get a bunch of books written for young people. They should be in plain English and it's a good way to start, before reading any more complex books.

Tips
1)Try to speak English as often as possible.
2) Reading books is a good way to improve your English. When reading, read them aloud, so you can practice your pronunciation. Remember that books are, maybe, the best teachers you'll ever get! They give you new vocabulary, practice your grammar(since you see a lot of sentences, this helps you to memorize the rules) and give you more control of the ********.
3) Watching TV and listening to the talk back radio will effectively improve your English. Watching the news is a good way to start, because most of the journalists speak very clearly, without strong accents.
4) Read, read, read. The more you read the better your English will be. Through reading you acquire new vocabulary without even realizing.
5) Whenever possible read aloud. This way you will improve your pronunciation.

Warnings
1) Learning English requires a lot of practice and determination, so don't try to learn everything at once, but don't ever give up!
2) Remember that the hardest part on learning English is to get the correct pronunciation, since the grammar is very easy, in comparison to other ***************.

Things You'll Need
1) A bilingual dictionary in the beginning and an English-English dictionary further on.
2) A Thesaurus to improve your vocabulary.
3) To surround yourself with English. This is very important!!
4) Motivation! Keep trying and you'll be able to learn!

Regards
Kassim

I would like to thank you dear bro Kassim for your genuine advice on how to speak English. It is easier said than done to improve speaking by reading or listening .
My personal opinion the best way to learn to speak English is not by collecting or reading books, this might help your grammar but not necessary improving your English speaking skills , but by talking with a native speaker on regular basis either somebody you know in your university or a friend on the internet . I also think using interactive software like the one mentioned could help as well .

So if you know an English friend make a rule that perhaps for an hour, or when you go out together, you will only speak English to each other! Find native English-speaking people who will give you conversation practice.

One more last thing I recommend we bring topics for discussions on the English forum to be talked about and analyzed in English. Inshallah next time I will think of one and i will post it on the English forum.

My best regards to everyone
